AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOTS 2 AND 3, BLOCK 2,
WORTHAM-CARLTON ADDITION, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO D. C.
FORD, SO AS TO INCI.UDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMFRLY DESIGNATED
AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 2(SF-2); AND
DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT
(GR) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Sectior. 1. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), be, and the same is
hereby established on LOTS 2 AND 3, BLOCK 2, WORTHAM-CARLTON
ADDITION, on property belonging to D. C. FORD, so as to
include in such GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) the hereinafter
described property, which was formerly and is presently
designated as a ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 2(SF-2),
and that the boun.daries of sa.id GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT
(GR), be, and the same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of I,amar, and State of
Texas, and being Lots 2 and 3, Block 2, Wortham
Carlton Addition.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, bP, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accorda.nce
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accor_lpanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordina.nce.
Section 3. All ordina.nces and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 12th day of October,
1984.
