AN ORDINArICE CLOSING THE STREET, BFIPdG OLD BROOKSTON
ROAD, BEGINN`ING AT THE WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF 7TH S. W.
STRFET IN A WESTERLY DIRECTION TO THE NORTH RIGHT-OF-WAY
LINE OF LOOP 286 S. W.; DECLARING NO NECESSITY OR NEED OF
SAID STREET FOR CITY tTSE OTHER THAN FOR A UTILITY EASEMENT,
WHICH IS EXPRESSLY RETAINF.D BY THE CITY OF PARIS; APID
PROVIPIPv'G FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF NOVEMBER 12, 1984.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the
City Council of the City of Paris, that a street, being Old
Brookston Road, beginning a.t the West boundary line of 7th
S. W. Street in a Wester.ly direction to the North
right-of-wav line of Loop 286 S. W., is of no use as an
alley or street to th.e City of Paris or to its citizens, but
is of use and necessary to the City of Paris and its
citizens for utility easement purposes, and the City Counci_1.
so finds; NCUI, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORPAINF,D BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the street, being Old Brookston Road,
beginning at the West boundary lire of 7th S. W. Street in a
Westerly di_rection to the North right-of-way line of Loop
286 S. W. described in Exhibit A attached hereto, is hereby
closed, witYi the City of_ Paris retaining a utility easement.
Section 2. This or.dinance shall become effective on
November 12, 1984.
