AN ORDINANCE AA4ENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TE}iAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON PART OF LOT 3, CITY BLOCK 266, ON
PROPERTY BELONGING TO 31 PROPERTIES, SO AS TO INCLUDE
THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY
DWELLING DISTRICT NO 3(SF-3); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUND-
ARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same is
hereby established on part of Lot 3, City Block 266, on
property belonging to 31 Properties, so as to include in
such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described
property, which was formerly and is presently designated as
a ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO 3(SF-3), and that the
boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same
are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the South line of
Loop 286 N.E., said point being the most northerly
Northwest corner of Lot 3, City Block 266 and also
being the Northeast corner of Lot 2A, City Block
266;
THENCE S 57° 09' East with the South line of
Loop 286 N.E., a distance of 193.5 feet to a
point;
THENCE S 29° 28' West, a distance of 258 feet
to a point;
THENCE N 510 20' West, a distance of 50 feet
more or less to a point in the East line of said
Lot 2A, City Block 266;
THENCE N 0° 28' West, a distance of 300 feet
to the place of beginning.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City af Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby exFressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the lOth day of January,
1983.
