AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2649, PASSED ON TIiE
13th DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1982, PERMITTING TIME FOR FcEPAIR OF
STRUCTURES OTHERWISE DECLARED DILAPIDATED AT 609 E. GARRETT,
LOT 3, CITY BLOCK 93-B BELONGING TO ROOSEVELT DIXON,
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY 10, 1983.
WHEREAS, Roosevelt Dixon appeared before the City
Council at its Regular Meeting on the 13th day of December,
1982 and requested that he be permitted to repair and bring
into Code compliance the structure heretofore declared to be
dilapidated at 609 E. Garrett, Lot 3, City block 93-B;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris deems it
to be in the best interest of the City of Paris that its
citizen, Roosevelt Dixon be given six (6) months to repair
and bring into Code requirements the structures at number
609 E. Garrett, Lot 3, City Block 93-B; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That 609 E. Garrett, Lot 3, City Blcok
93-B, be removed from the list included in Section 1 of
Ordinance 2649 and that they be added to the list that
appears in Section 2 of said Ordinance with June 15, 1983
listed thereafter.
Section 2. Al1 ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are expressly repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective on
January 10, 1983.
