83-007 ORD AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO 1710 AND CHANGING BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY ESTABLISHING GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON TRACT 1 ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DAVID GLASS ORDINANCE N0. 2frZ~`6' '5 -W AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONIPIG MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON TRACT l, AND A MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1) ON TRACT 2, ON PART OF LOTS 2 AND 3, CITY BLOCK 319, ON PROPERTY BELO1'dGING TO DAVID GLASS, SO AS TO It1CLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWEI,LING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2) AND GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) APJD MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1 (MF-1) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on Tract l, and that a Multi-Family Dwelling District No. 1(MF-1) , be, and the same is hereby established on Tract 2, being part of Lots 2 and 3, City Block 319, on property belonging to David Glass, so as to include in such Genera"1 Retail District (GR) and Niulti- Family Dwelling District No. 1(MF-1) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a One Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2) on Tract l, and a One Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2 and General Retail District (GR) on Tract 2, and that the boundaries of said General Retail District (GR) and Multi- Family Dwelling District No. 1(MF-1), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: TRACT 1: Being all that certain tract or parcel of land situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar and State of Texas, a part of the Hiram Williams Survey Abst. No. 1003, and the Joseph Leach Survey, Abst. No. 524 and being a part of a 74.11 acre tract of land conveyed James S. Griffin by Deed Recorded in Volume 337, Page 287, of the Deed Records of said County and State and being further described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner in the South Boundary Line of F.M. Road 195 situated North 53 Degrees 05 Minutes East with said South Line a distance of 175.8 feet from the most westerly Northwest corner of said Griffin tract of land; THENCE with the South Boundary line of F.M. P,oad No. 195 the following: North 53 Degrees 05 Minutes East a distance of 203.7 feet to a con- crete monument for corner; South 2 Degrees 57 Minutes East a distance of 95.6 feet to a concrete monument for corner; North 48 Degrees 20 Minutes East a distance of 282.6 feet to an iron pin for corr.er; THENCE South 5 Degrees 46 Minutes East a distance of 75.1 feet to an iron pin for corner; THENCE North 89 Degrees 30 Minutes East a distance of 190.0 feet to a point for corner; THENCE South 55 Degrees 31 Minutes West a distance of 598.9 feet to a point for corner in a curve to the right having a radius of 536.97 feet; THENCE Northwesterly with curve to the right having a long chord bearing North 28 Deg. 35 Min. West 62.86 feet, an arc distance of 62.90 feet to the end of said curve; THENCE North 20 Degrees 19 Minutes West at 151.7 feet to the place of beginning and contain- ing 1.988 acres of land, more or less. TRACT 2: Being all that certain tract or parcel of land situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar and State of Texas, a part of the Hiram Williams Survey Abst. No. 1003, and the Joseph Leach Survey, Abst. No. 524 and being a part of a 74.11 acre tract of land conveyed to James S. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
