AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS
BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC NO-PARKING MAP ADOPTED IN
PARAGRAPH (c) OF SECTION 29-112 OF SAID CODE; ESTABLISHING A
N0 PARKING AREA: PROVIDIP3G FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED
$200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES Ok PARTS OFc ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEkEWITH; ANB PROVIDING FOR Ard EFFECTIVE DATE OF
t1PRIL 4, 1983.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CTTY COUNCIL QF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the Traffic No Parking AZap adopted in
Paragraph (c) of Section 29-112 of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended to include the
fallowing No Parking area:
"On the North side of West Hickory Street,
beginning at a point 256 feet West of the West
curb line of North Main Street and extending West
448 feet to the Texas Department of Highways and
Public Transportation property line."
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of ttiis ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C"
Misdemeanor, and upon convictian shall be fined in any sum
not to exceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith a.re hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on the
4th day of April, 1983.
