AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 UF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGIrdG THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLTSHING A
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - AUTO FUEL
SALES (49) ON LOT 1F-A, CITY BLOCK 306, ON PROPERTY BELONG-
ING TO FRANKLIN J. HOMER, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY
FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C); AND
DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMNtERCIAL DISTRICT (C)
AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - AUTO FUEL SALES (49) SO ESTAB-
LISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CTTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore establzshed
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT -
AUTO FUEL SALES (49), be, and the same is hereby established
on LOT 1F-A, CITY BLOCK 306, on property belonging to
FRANKLIN J. HOMER, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - AUTU FUEL SALES (49)
the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and
is presently designated as a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) and
that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT ,
SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - AUTO FUEL SALES (49), be, and he same
are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being a part of the Reddin Russell
Survey #786, and a part of a tract of land con-
veyed Morris Kimbell by deed recorded in Vol, 578,
Page 216, of the Deed Records of said County and
State.
BEGINNING at a stake for corner in the South
Boundary line of Stone Ave, at the NNortheast
corner of said Kimbell tract of land;
THErdCE North 84 Deg. 33 Min, West along the
South Boundary Line of Stone Ave, a distance of
99.1 feet to a stake for corner;
THENCE South 42 Deg. 09 Min. West along the
East Boundary line nf U. S. Highway 271 a distance
of 70.7 feet to a concrete marker;
THENCE Southerly along the East Boundary line
of said Highway around a curve to the right a
distance of 80 feet to a stake for corner;
THENCE North 89 Deg. 11 Min. East a distance
of 148.5 feet to a stake for corner in the East
Boundary line of said Kimbell tract of larid;
THENCE PJorth 2 Deg. 13 Min. West a distance
of 120.3 feet to the place of beginning and
containing 0.40 acres of land.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith ar.e hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 9th day of May, 1983.
