AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
GENERAL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - AUTO FUEL
SALES (49) OrI PAP.T OF LOT 35-D, CITY BLOCK 249, ON PROPERTY
BELONGING TO DON OGLESBY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY
FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR); AND
DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL DISTRICT (GR) AND
SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - AUTO FUEL SALES (49) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the saMe are hereby changed,
and that a GENERAL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT -
AUTO FUEL SALES (49), be, and the same is hereby established
on PART OF LOT 35-D, CITY BLOCK 249, on property belonging
to DON OGLESBY, so as to include in such GENERAL DISTRICT
(GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - AUTO FUEL SALES (49) the
hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is
presently designated as a GEIQERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), and
that the boundaries of said GENER.AL DISTRICT (GR) AND
SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - AUTO FUEL SALES (49), be, and the same
are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being a part of the Joseph Leach
Survey, Abstract No. 524 and part of a 1.81 acre
tract of land conveyed Lowry Carrington by deed
recorded in Vol. 612, Page 452 of the Deed Records
of said County and State;
BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of said
Carrington tract of land, same being in the North
boundary line of Clarksville Street;
THENCE Westerly with the North Boundary line
of Clarksville Street, a distance of 140 feet to a
point;
THENCE North, a distance of 140 feet to a
point;
THENCE Easterly parallel to the North line of
Clarksville Street, a distance of 140 feet to a
point in the East line of said Carrington tract;
THENCE South, a distance of 140 feet to the
place of beginning.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordin.ance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 9th day of May, 1983.
