AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ORDINANCE AND kE50LUTI0N
NUMBERING SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND
RENUMBERING SUCH ORDINAIICES AND RESOLUTIONS AS HAVE BEEN
PASSED ON AND AFTER JANUARY 1, 1983; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE aF MAY 10, 1983.
BE IT ORDAIPdED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That Ordinance PZo. 2667 passed on the lOth
day of January, 1983 be, and the same is hereby, renumbered
as Ordinance No. 83-001 and each ordinance passed subsequent
to said ordinance during the year 1983 shall be consecutively
numbered with the prefix of the numbering system changing on
January l, 1984 to 84 and in a like manner each year there-
after with the last three digits of said numbering system
beginning with 001 on January 1 of each year.
Section 2. That Resolution Ydo. 2235 passed on the lOth
day of January, 1983 be, and the same is hereby, renumbered
as Resolution No. 83-001 and each resolution passed subse-
quent to said resolution during the year 1983 shall be
consecutively numbered with the prefix of the numbering
system changing on January l, 1984 to 84 and in a like
manner each year thereafter wwith the last three digits of
said numbering system beginning with 001 on January 1 of
each year.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective on
rlay 10, 1983.
Passed and adopted this 9th day of May, 1983.
