AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT - OFFICE DISTRICT (PD-f) ON LOT 3, CITY
BLOCK 285; LOT 4, CITY BLOCK 285; LOT 5, CITY BLOCK 285; LOT
6, CITY BLOCK 285; LOT 7 AND 8, CITY BLOCK 285; AND LOT 9,
CITY BLOCK 285; ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JOHN HOUSE, GLENN
SMALLWOOD, JIMMIE MCFADDEN, EDNA PETWAY, LEELON HAMIL AND
C. A. SKIDMORE, RESPECTIVELY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN
TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAYiILY DWELLING
DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT - DISTRICT OFFICE (PD-f) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a PLANNED DEVELOPMENT - DISTRICT OFFICE (PD-f), be,
and the same is hereby established on LOT 3, CITY BLOCK 285;
LOT 4, CITY BLOCK 285; LOT 5, CITY BLOCK 285; LOT 6, CITY
BLOCK 285; LOT 7 AND 8, CITY BLOCK 285; AND LOT 9, CITY
BLOCK 285; on property belonging to JOHN HOUSE, GLENN
SMALLWOOD, JIMMIE MCFADDEN, EDNA PETWAY, LEELON HAMIL AND C.
A. SKIDMORE, RESPECTIVELY, so as to include in such PLANNED
DEVELOPMENT - DISTRICT OFFICE (PD-f) the hereinafter
described property, which was formerly and is presently
designated as a ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 2(SF-2),
and that the boundaries of said PLANNED DEVELOPMENT -
DISTRICT OFFICE (PD-f), be, and the same are hereby
established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the South boundary
line of Lamar Avenue, said point being the North-
west corner of Lat 3, City Block 285 and being 150
feet East of the East boundary line of 31st S. E.;
THENCE Easterly with the South boundary line
of Lamar Avenue, a distance of 525 feet to a point
in the West boundary line of 32nd S. E. and being
the Northeast corner of Lot 9, City Block 285;
THENCE Southerly with the West boundary line
of 32nd S. E., a distance of 183 feet to the
Southeast corner of said Lot 9;
THENCE Westerly with the South line of said
Lot 9, a distance of 525 feet to the Southwest
corner of Lot 3, City Block 285;
THENCE Northerly with the West line of said
Lot 3, a distance of 183 feet to the place of
beginning.
Section 2. That the zoning herein granted is
conditioned upon the submission of a Site Plan in accordance
with Section 8-302 of Ordinance No. 1710, which after full
compliance with the procedure established in Section 21 of
said Ordinance No. 1710, must be approved by the City
Council prior to the issuance of any building permits.
Section 3. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the 'Loning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanyirig the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 13th day of June, 1983.
