83-036 ORD PROVIDING ORDINANCE NO 1315 OF COP BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTIONS 7A AND 7F OF SAID ORDINANCE ORDINANCE NO. $3-O36 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT ORDINANCE N0. 1315 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTIONS 7A AND 7F OF SAID ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN ESTATE TYPE STREET, HAVING MINIMUM WIDTH OF RIGHT OF WAY OF 60 FEET AND A MINIMUM PAVING WIDTH OF 18 FEET WITH DITCH DRAINAGE SYSTEM; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINAIQCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JULY 1, 1983. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1315 af the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended by adding thereto a new sub-paragraph (17) as follows with existing sub-paragraph (17) being renumbered to sub-paragraph (18): "Section 1... (17) ESTATE STREET - The phrase "Estate Street" shall be a street which is intended primarily to serve traffic within an area zoned Single Family Dwelling District No. One (SF-1), and which is not necessarily continuous through several residential districts." Section 2. That sub-paragraph (10) of Section VII of Ordinance No. 1315 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas be amended be adding thereto the following: Estate Streets shall have a minimum width of right-of-way of 60 feet and a minimum paving width of 18 feet with drainage ditches of no greater depth of lZ feet; however, when drain- age ditches are required to exceed 13-, feet in depth, minimum right-of-way width must be iri- creased in accordance with approved plans for street and related drainage system." Section 3. That sub-paragraph F(1) of Section VII of Ordinance No. 1315 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas be amended so that such shall read as follows: "Section VII F. (1) Standard curb and gutter except as permitted in area zoned Single Family Dwelling District No. One (SF-1) and not otherwise required," Section 4. Any person violating any of the pro- visions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.00, and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated section shall constitute and be deemed a separate offense. Section 5. All ordinances or parts of orclinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 6. This ordinance shall become effective on July 1, 1983.
