83-043 ORD PROVIDING ZONING ORDINANCE 1710 OF COP BE AMENDED BY REVISINGS ECTIONS 9-102, 9-201, 9-301 AND 9-401 OF SAID CODE
ORDINANCE NO. 83-043
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT ZONING ORDINANCE 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, BE AMENUED BY REVISING SECTIONS 9-102, 9-201,
9-301, AND 9-401 OF SAID ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR THE
ENLARGING OF MINIMUM LOT AREA, WIDTH, DEPTH AND BUILDING
COVERAGE OF SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. ONE, (SF-1);
PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF AUGUST 1, 1983.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That Sub-paragraph (1) of Section 9-102
of Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be
amended so that the minimum lot area of Single Family
Dwelling District No. One (SF-1) be established at 1.5
acres.
Section 2. That sub-paragraph (1) of Section 9-201
of Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas be
amended so that the minimum lot width of Single Family
Dwelling District No. One (SF-1) be changed to 150 feet.
Section 3. That sub-paragraph (1) of Section 9-301
of Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas be
amended so that the minimum lot depth of Single Family
Dwelling District No. One (SF-1) be changed to 200 feet.
Section 4. That sub-paragraph (1) of Section 9-401
of Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas be
amended so that the maximum building coverage permitted in
Single Family Dwelling District No. One (SF-1) be changed to
15 percent.
Section 5. Any person violating any of the pro-
visions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C"
Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum
not to exceed $200.00, and each and every day's continuance
of any violation of the above enumerated section shall
constitute and be deemed a separate offense.
Section 6. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 7. This ordinance shall become effective on
August 1, 1983.
