AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) UN THE SOUTH 250 FEET OF LOT 8, CITY
BLOCK 315, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO GLENN SMALLWOOD, SO AS
TO INCLUDE THEREIN TEkRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A
GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES
OF THE CONIr1ERCIAL DISTRTCT (C) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY UF
PARIS:
Sectian l. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same is
hereby established on the South 250 feet of LOT 8, CITY
BLOCK 315, on property belonging to GLENN SMALLWOOD, so as
to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter
described property, which was formerly and is presently
clesignated as a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), and that the
boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same
are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being the South 250 feet of Lot 8, City
Block 315 of the City of Paris, Texas.
Section 2. That the Director ot Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Faris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 8th day of August,
1983.
