AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NU. 1710 OF THE
CITY UF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
OFFICE DISTRICT (0) ON LOTS 2-A, 3 AND 4, CITY BLOCK 113-A
AND LOT 7 AND PART OF LOT 8, BLOCK 4, FELT, FORTS AND VARNER
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF PARIS, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO ST.
JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY
FOIZMERLY DESIGNATED AS A TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F);
AND DESIGDIATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE OFFICE BISTRICT (0) SO
ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
YARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1110 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a OFFICE DISTRICT (0) , be, and the same is hereby
established on LUTS 2-A, 3 AND 4, CITY BLOCK 113-A AND LOT 7
ANll PART OF LOT 8, BLOCK 4, FELT, FORTS AND VARNER AllDITION
TO 2'HE CITY OF PARIS, on property belonging to ST. JOSEPH'S
HOSPZTAL, so as to inciude in such OFFICE DISTRICT (0) the
hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is
presently designated as a TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F),
and that the boundaries of said OFFICE DISTRiCT (0), be, and
the saLne are hereby established as tollows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
uity of Paris, County ot Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being further described as follows:
TKACT 1: BEGINNING at a point in the East
boundarine of lOth S. E., said point being the
Southwest corner of Lot 7, Block 4, of Felt, Forte
and Varner Addition to the City of Paris, Texas,
according to the plat of said addition of record
in Book 77, Page 404, lleed Records, Lamar County,
Texas.
THENCE North with the East boundary line of
lOth 5treet, S. E. , a distance of 65. 0 feet to a
point for corner;
THENCE East, a distance ot 175 feet to a
point in the East line of said Felt, Forte and
Varner Addition;
THENCE South, a. distance of 65.0 feet to the
Southeast corner of said Lot
THENCE West, a distance of 175 feet to the
place of beginning.
TRACT 2: Being Lots 2-A, 3 and 4, City Block
113-A a-n-d---Being more particularly described as
tollows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the South
boundary line of East Austin Street with the West
boundary line of 12th S. E.;
THENCE South with the said West boundary line
ot 12th S. E., a distance ot 170 feet to a point,
the Southeast corner ot said Lot 4;
THENCE West with the South boundary lir.e of
Lot 4, a distance of 140 feet to the Southwest
corner of said Lot 4, said point also being in the
East boundary line ot said Lot 2-A;
THENCE South with the East boundary line of
Lot 2-A, a distance of 92 feet to its Southeast
corner;
THENCE West a distance of 75 feet more or
less to the Southwest corner ot said Lot 2-A;
THENCE North with the West boundary line ot
Lot 2-A, a distance ot 285 feet more or less to
the 5outh boundary I.ine ot East Austin Street;
THENCE Easterly with the South boundary line
of East Austin Stree.t, a distance of 222 feet more
or less to the place of beginning.
Section 2. That the llirector of Community Development
of the City of Yaris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City ot Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conttict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become ettective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted Uy the City Council of the City of
raris, in regular session convened, in the Council RooM,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 12th day ot 5eptember,
1983.
