AN ORDINANCE Al2ENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
OFFICE DISTRICT (0) ON LOT 9, CITY BLOCK 220-G, ON PROPERTY
BELONGING TO DWIGHT DAVIS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY
FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 2
(SF-2); AP1D DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE OFFICE DIS-
TRICT (0) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a OFFICE DISTRICT (0) , be, and the same is hereby
established on LOT 9, CITY BLOCK 220-G, on property belong-
ing to DWIGHT DAVIS, so as to include in such OFFICE DIS-
TRICT (0) the hereinaft:er described property, which was
formerly and is presently designated as a ONE FAMILY DWELL-
ING DISTRICT N0. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said
OFFICE DISTRICT (0), be, and the same are hereby established
as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being a part of the I. Davis Survey and
a part of the Hiram Williams Survey;
BEGINNING at the intersection of 20th N. E.
Street, (formerly 36th), with Price Street;
THENCE East with the North boundary line of
Price Street, 162 feet, a stake;
THENCE North 60.5 feet to a stake;
THENCE West 162 feet to the East boundary
line of said 20th Street N. E.;
THENCE with the East boundary line of said
street to the place of beginning.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance Pdo. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 17th day of October,
1983.
