ORDIPIANCE N0. 83-074
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT ORDINANCE N0. 1315 OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION III OF SAID
ORDINANCE; PROVIDING THAT AN ERRONEOUS REFERENCE TO FINAL
PLAT BE CHANGED TO PRELIMINARY PLAT; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY
NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY 1, 1984.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That Section III of Ordinance No. 1315
of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amen.ded so that such
shall read as follows:
"Sec. III. Preliminary Plat...
(18) No construction work shall begin on the
proposed improvements in the proposed subdivision
prior to approval of the preliminary plat by the
Commission."
Section 2. Any person violating any of the pro-
visions of this ordinar_ce shall be guilty of a Class "C"
riisdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum
not to exceed $200.00, and each and every day's continuance
of any violation of the above enumerated section shall
constitute and be deemed a separate offense.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
January l, 1984.
