AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP
ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80 OF SAID CODE;
PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY PdOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL
GRDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY 1, 1984.
BE IT ORDAINEU BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the Traffic-Control Device Map adopted
in Paragraph (b) of Section 29-80 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Paris be amended to include stop signs as
follows:
"Stop, Fairfax Ave, at 14th N. E. Street,
fror.i the East and West.
"Stop, Fairfax Ave. at llth N. E. Street,
from the East.
"Stop, Belmont Street at llth N. E. Street,
from the East."
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Mis-
demeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not
to exceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
January 1, 1984.
