AN ORDINANCE A.NIENDING ZOiVING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF
THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA-
RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING NIAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH-
ING A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 2(SF-2) ON LOTS
11, 12A, 12B, 12C and 12E, CITY BLOCK 309, ON PROPERTY
BELONGING TO RODNEY SATHER, ET AL, SO AS TO INCLUDE THERE-
IN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A HEAVY INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT (HI); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE ONE-
FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 2(SF-2) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established
b3 the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a One-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), be,
and the same is hereby established on Lots 11, 12A, 12B,
12C and 12E, City Block 309, on property belonging to
Rodney Sather, et al, so as to include in such One-Family
Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2) the hereinafter described
property, which was formerly and is presently designated
as a Heavy Industrial District (HI), and that the bounda-
ries of said One-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2),
be, and the same are hereby established as follows;
Situated within the Corporate Limits of the
City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas;
BEGINNING at a point in the South Boundary Line
of Brown Avenue, said point being 224 feet West of
the West Boundary Line of 19th S. W., said point
being the Northeast corner of Lot 12C, City Block 309;
THENCE South a distance of 130 feet to the South-
west corner of said Lot 12C, City Block 309;
THENCE West a distance of 264 feet to a point in
the East line of Lot 11, City Block 309, said point
being the Southwest corner of Lot 12A, City Block 309;
THENCE South 110 feet to the Southeast corner of
said Lot 11, City Block 309;
THENCE West 106 feet to the Southwest corner of
said Lot 11, City Block 309;
THENCE North 240 feet to a point in the South
Boundary Line of Brown Avenue, said point being the
iVorthwest corner of said Lot 11, City Block 309;
THENCE East 370 feet to the place of beginning.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change
the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the
provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map ac-
cor.ipanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions
of this ordinance.
Section 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage,
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Paris in regular session convened in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the llth day of January,
1982.
