AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE PdO. 1710 OF
THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA-
RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH-
ING A COMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON PART OF LOTS 23 AP1D 24,
BLOCK 2 OF TiiE MARTIN-BLOCK ADDITION, ON PROPERTY BE-
LONGING TO ALLEN PRICE, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY
FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A TWO-FA1`?ILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F);
AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMME RCIAL DISTRICT
(C), SO ESTABLISHED,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1, That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a Commercial District (C), be, and the same is
hereby established on part of Lots 23 and 24 of the Plartin-
Block Addition, on property belonging to Allen Price, so
as to include in such Commercial District (C), the tzerein-
after described property, which was formerly and is presently
designated as a Two-Far.zily Dwellina District (2F), and that
the boundaries of said Corunercial District (C), be, and the
sarie are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and being the
South part of Lots 23 and 24, Block 2 of the Martin-
Block Addition, located on the Northwest corner of
7th N. W. and West Cherry Street.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the pro-
visions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4, This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage,
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the llth day of January,
1982.
