AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF
THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUIQDA-
RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING 14AP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH-
ING A MULTIPLE FA1`IILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1) ON
THE SOUTH PART OF LOT 1, CITY BLOCK 258, ON PROPERTY BE-
LONGING TO THE CRIST AND ELIZABETH PSHIGODA FOUNDATION, SO
AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A
ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING
THE BOUNDARIES OF THE MULTIPLE FAIILY DWELLING DISTRICT
N0. 1 (MF-1) 50 ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNGIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that
a Multiple Family Dwelling District No. 1(MF-1), be, and
the same is hereby established on the South part of Lot 1,
City Block 258, on property belonging to the Crist and
Elizabeth Pshigoda Foundation, so as to include in such
Multiple Family Dwelling District No. 1(MF-1), the herein-
after described property, which was formerly and is presently
designated as a Qne-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2),
and that the boundaries of said Multiple Family Dwelling
District No. 1(MF-1), be, and the same are hereby established
as follows:
Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City
of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part
of the Hiram Williams Survey #1003, and being a part
of a 20.28 acre tract of land conveyed Russell A. Gifford
by deed recorded in Vol. 413, Page 113, of the Deed
Records of said County and State.
BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner in the North
Boundary Line of Cherry St. at the Southeast corner of
said Gifford tract of land.
THENCE North a distance of 756 ft, to an iron pin
for corner, said point being South a distance of 758
ft. from the Northeast corner of said Gifford tract of
land;
THENCE West a distance of 581 ft. to an iron pin
for corner, said point being South a distance of 756 ft.
from the Northwest corner of said Gifford tract of land;
THENCE South a distance of 756 ft. to an iron pin
for corner at the Southwest corner of said Gifford tract
of land, said point being the Southeast corner of a tract
of land owned by Charles R. Greb;
THENCE East along the North Boundary Line of said
Cherry St. a distance of 581 ft. to the place of begin-
ning and containing 10.083 acres of land.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the pro-
visions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying
the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordi-
nance.
Section 3, All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance sha11 become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris in regular session convened in the Council Room, City
Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 8th day of February, 1982.
