ORDINANCE N0. 2610
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PRO-
VIDING THAT THE CODE UF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SUB-PARAGRAPH (e) OF
SECTION 12-12 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR THE DELETION OF
AIQ EXCEPTION TO THE PROVISION AGAINST BURNING OUT OF DOORS
WITHIN THE CITY OF PARIS; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO
EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
0RDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE OF MARCH l, 1982.
BE TT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That Sub-paragraph (e) of Section 12-12 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas,
be amended sa that such shall read as follows:
"Sec. 12-12. Outside Fires and Open Flame Torches.
(e) Not withstanding the prohibition contained
in paragraph (a), (b), and (c) of this section, Fire
Department training exercises are permitted.

Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor,
and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed
$200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4, This ordinance shall become effective on
Mar ch 1, 1982.
