AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING AN
OFFICE DISTRICT (0) ON LOT 15, CITY BLOCK 296, ON PROPERTY
BELONGING TO JOHN L. HUTCHINGS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN
TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A MULTIPLE-FAMILY DWELLING
DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE
OFFICE DISTRICT (0) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundariesheretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that an
Office District (0), be, and the same is hereby established on
Lot 15, City Block 296, on property belonging to John L.
Hutchings, so as to include in such Office District (0), the
hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is pre-
sently designated as a Multiple-Family Dwelling District No. 1
(MF-1), and that the boundaries of the Office District (0), be,
and the same are hereby establislzed as follows:
Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City
of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, in the Joseph Leach
Survey, and being a part of the tract described in
deed from W. A. Hansen to F. E. Griffis, recorded in
deed book 208, page 54, of the records of Lamar County,
Texas, and described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at the NW corner of said tract;
THENCE South with its WB line 314 feet, a stake
in the NB line of Highway 82;
THENCE in a northeasterly direction with the NB
line of said Highway 150 feet, a stake;
THENCE North 303.6 feet, a stake;
THENCE West 148.5 feet to the place of beginning;
Being a part of the property described in deed
from F. E. Griffis to C. W. Cothran, dated September 30,
1952, recorded in deed book 334, page 295, of the records
of Lamar County, Texas, reference to which is here made
for all proper purposes.
Section Z. That the Director of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the pro-
visions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying
the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordi-
nance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4, This ordinance shall become effective immedi-
ately upan passage.
