AN ORDITIANCO~ ODISASTER EMERGENCYS~ANDRPROVIDING~FOR
CLARING A STATE
AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COLNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. Due to the riassive destruction suffered
by the City of Paris, the City Council of the City of Paris
does hereby declare a state of disaster emergency for a
period of seven (7) days beginning April 2, 1982 and ending
Anril 9, 1982, in order to protect the health, life and
property of the City and its inhabitants.
Section 2. The terrible destruction caused by the
tornado in t'ne City of Paris on April 2, 1982 creates an
emergency,and this ordinance is declared to be an etnergency
measure and shall go into effect immediately upon its passage.
Passed and adopted this 2nd day of April, 1982.
