ORDINANCE DIO. 2653
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDIPJG THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCFS, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP
ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80 OF SAID CODE;
PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00 REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; HEREWITH; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF NOVEMBER 1, 1982.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the Traffic-Control Device Map adopted
in Paragraph (b) of Section 29-80 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Paris be amended to include stop sign as
follows:
Stop lst S. E. Street at Clarksville Street,
from the North.
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor,
and upon conviction shall be f_ined in any suM not to exceed
$200.00.
Section 3. Al1 ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
Dlovember l, 1982.
