AN ORDINANCE ANIENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A) ON LOT 2, CITY BLOCK 188-D, ON
PROPERTY BELONGING TO ARCH HATCH, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN
DESIGNATED
AND DESIGNA
(A) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a Agricultural District (A), be, and the same is
hereby established on Lot 2, City Block 188-D, on property
belonging to Arch Hatch, so as to include in such Agricul-
tural District (A) the hereinafter described property, which
was formerly and is presently designated as a Commercial
District (C), and that the boundaries of said Agricultural
District (A), be, and the same are hereby established as
follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being Lot 2, City Block 188-D further
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the North
boundary line of Old Jefferson Road with the East
boundary line of 8th S. E. Street;
THENCE North with the east boundary line of
8th S. E. a distance of 620 feet to a point in the
South boundary line of the old Paris-Mt.Pleasant
RR (abandoned);
THENCE Easterly with said Sauth boundary line
of the P-MP RR, a distance of 832 feet to a point
for corner;
THENCE South a distance of 600 feet to the
North boundary line of Old Jefferson Road;
THENCE Westerly with said North boundary line
of Old Jefferson Road, a distance of 832 feet to
the place of beginning.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Sectian 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
