AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, BE AN'iENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP
ADOPTED IN PARAGF,APH (b) OF SECTION 29-80 OF SAID CODE;
PROVIDING FGR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00 REPEALING
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; HEREWITH;
PROVIDITdG FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY l, 1983.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the Traffic-Control Device Map adopted
in Paragraph (b) of Section 29-80 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Puris be amended to include stop signs as
follows:
"°Stop West Kaufman Street at 19th S. W. Street
from the West.
Stop West Browr. Street at 19th S.W. Street,
from the West.
Stop Old Bonham Road at 19th S. W. Street,
from the West.
Stop West Plum Street at 19th N. W. Street,
from the West.
Stop West Cherry Street at 19th N. W. Street,
from the West.
Stop West Park Street at 19th N. W. Street,
from the West.
Stop West Shiloh Street at 19th N. W. Street
from the East and West.
Stop West Walker Street at 19th N. W. Street
from the East and West.
Stop West Houston Street at 19th N. W. Street
from the East."
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C"
Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum
not to exceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
January 1, 1983.
