ORDINANCE N0. 2501
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PRO-
VIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED
BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC NO PARKING 1KAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (c)
OF SECTION 29-112 OF SAID CODE; ESTABLISHING THREE NO PARKING
AREAS; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEAL-
ING ALL ORDINANCES OR. PAF.TS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JUNE 1, 1980.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS :
Section 1. That the Traffic No Parking Map adopted in Para-
graph (c) of Section 29-112 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended to include the following No
Parking areas:
"On the West side of 4th Street, S. W. from the South
Boundary Line of West Sherman Street to the North Boundary
Line of West Washington Street.
On the East side of 6th Street, S. W. from the South
Boundary Line of West Sherman Street to the North Boundary
Line of West Washington Street.
On the South side of DeShong Drive from the East Boundary
Line of North Main Street to the West Boundary Line of
Lewis Lane."
Section 2. Any nerson violating any of the provisions of
this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and
upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
June l, 1980.
