AN ORDINANCE AMENDING OP.DINANCE N0. 2499 OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXASq BY AMENDING SECTION 1 OF SAID ORDI-
NANCE, APPOINTING THREE MEMBERS TO THE EQUALIZATION BOARD
OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, TO SERVE FOR THE CURRENT
TAXABLE YEAR; REPEALING~DLPROVIDINGCFOR ANPEFFECTIVERDATENCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2499 be
amended to read as follows:
"Section 1. That Joe King, Robert Irion,
and J. D. Mills, Jr., all residents of the City of
Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and qualified voters and
real nroperty owners in said City, be, and they are
hereby appointed as the Board of Equalization of the
City of Paris, Paris, Texas, for the current taxable
year. "
Section All herebynexpresspyrrepealeddinances in
conflict herewith are
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective immedi-
ately upon passage.
