AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY 0F PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PRO-
VIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED
BY REVISING SECTTON 14-33(a) FOR THE PURPOSE OF INCREASING THE
DUMPZNG FEE FOR GARBAGE OR RUBBTSH; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY
NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECT-
IVE DATE OF JULY l, 1980.
BE IT ORDAZNED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That Section 14-33(a) of the Code of Ordi-
nances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that
such shall read as follows:
"Sec. 14-33. Dump fee.
(a) There is hereby fixed a dump fee of One and 50/100
Dollars ($1.50) per cubic yard for all garbage or rubbish
delivered to the sanitary landfill."
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of
this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and
upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or narts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
July l, 1980.
