2510 ORD PROVIDING CODE OF ORDINANCES BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTIONS 19-18 THROUGH 19-20 ORDINANCE N0,2510 AN ORDINA,.'VCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVID- ING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY 0F PARIS, BE AMENDED BY RE'VISING SECTIONS 19-18 THROUGH 19-20; PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF A PERMANENT PERrfIT FOR THE LOCATION OF A MOBILE HOME OUTSIDE 0F A MOBILE HOME PARK; PROVTDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINAIVCES IN CODIFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR A.N EFFECTIVE DATE OF JULY l, 1980, BE IT OP:DAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That Section 19-18 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, '£exas, be amer.ded so that such shall read as follows: "Sec. 19-18. Application - For permanent permit. Application for a permanent permit under this Article shall be addressed to the City Council and filed with the City Clerk. Such application shall give the name and address of the applicant and a description of the property upon which the mobile hom.e is to be located. The City Clerk shall immedi- ately deliver a copy of such application to the Director of Community Development." Section 2. That Section 19-19(b) of the Code of Ordi- nances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read as fallows: "Sec. 19-19. Fees applicable to mobile homes. (b) There shall be no fee for a permanent permit under this Article, but the mobile home covered by such nermit shall be subject to the same building, electrical, and plumbing permit fees applicable to other types of structures," Section 3. That Section 19-20(b) of the Code of Ordi- nances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read as follows: "Sec. 19-20. Issuance. (b) A permanent permit required by this Article shall be issued by the City Clerk only after such issu- ance has been approved by the City Council. The permit application shall be considered at a public hearing be- fore the City Council, and varitten notice shall be sent to all owners of real proAerty lying within two hundred (200) feet of the property on which the permit to place a mobile home has been requested. Such notice shall be given not less than ten (10) days before the date set for hearing by posting such notice, properly addressed and postage paid, to each taxpayer as the oumership appears on the last approved City tax roll." Section 4, Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be -rined in any sum nat to exceed $200.OOE Section 5, A11 ordinar_ces or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed, Section 6, This ordinance shall become effective on July l, 1980..
