AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710
OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE
BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY;
ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND A
SPECIFIC USE PERMIT, AUTO LAUNDRY (3), ON LOTS 2, 2A
AND 2B, CITY BLOCK 61, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JESSE
HALL, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRII'ORY FORMERLY
DESIGNAZ'ED AS A TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (217) AND
A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR); AND DESIGNATING THE
BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND
SPECIFIC USE PERMIT, AUTO LAUNDRY (3) SO ESTABLISHED,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CI?Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General
Retail District (GR) and a Specific Use Permit, Auto Laundry (3),
be, and the same are hereby established on Lots 2, 2A and 2B,
City Block 61, on property belonging to Jesse Hall, so as to include
in such General Retail District (GR) and Specific Use Permit, Auto
Laundry (3), the hereinafter described property, which was formerly
and is present ly designated as a Two-Fam.ily Dwelling District (2F)
and a General Retail District (GR), and that the boundaries of said
General Retail District (GR) and Specific Use Permit, Auto Laundry
(3), be, and the same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City
of Paris, Lamar County, Texas;
Being a part of the Isaiah Davis Survey in
City Block b l ;
BEGINNING 107.2 feet West of the intersection
of the South Boundary line of Tudor Street with the
West Boundary line of Sixth Street Northeast;
THENCE West 122.5 feet, a stake;
THENCE South 102 feet, a fence corner;
THENCE East 120 feet, a stake;
THENCE North 102 feet to the place of
beginnf ng.
Sect.ion 2. That the Director of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the C.ity of Paris in accordance with the provisions
of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the
same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris in
regular session convened, in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris,
Texas, on this the 14th day of July, 1980.
