2514 ORD AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO 1710 AND CHANGING BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY ESTABLISHING LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) ON LOTS 14 AND 15 CITY BLOCK 305 ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JOHN F POWERS AND ROBERT L POWERS ORDINANCE NO. 2514 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH ING A LIGHT INDUSTRIA L DISTR ICT (LI) ON LOTS 14 AND 15, CITY BLOCK 305, ON PROPERT'Y BELONGING TO JOHN F. POWERS AND ROBERT L. POWERS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDA R IES OF THE LIGHT INDUSTR IA L DISTR ICT (LI) SO ES - TABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. Z'hat the boundaries heretofore establ.ished by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Light Industrial District (LI), be, and the same is hereby established on Lots 14 and 15, City Block 305, on property belonging to John F. Powers and Robert L. Powers, so as to include in such Light Industrial District (LI) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of sa.id Light Industrial District (LI), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: TRACT l: Situated in Lamar County, Texas, a part of the J. Herrington Headright Survey, and being 8 acres oEf of the North part of 16. 44 acres deeded to J. E. Williams by W. H. Long, on September 2, 1902, as shown in Deed Book 107, Page 46, Lamar County Deed Records. BEGINNING at a stake the N. W. corner of safd 16.44 acres; THENCE South 351.8 feet a stake; THENCE East 1130. 2 feet a stake on the EB line of said 16.44 acres; THENCE North with its EB line 249. 3 feet a stake the SE corner of a one acre block heretofore conveyed to J. L. Snowden; THENCE West with the SB line of said one acre tract 415. 5 feet a stake, its SW corner; THENCE North 97. 0 feet a stake, its NW corner on the NB line of said 16.44 acres; THENCE West 711. 9 feet to the place of beginning, containing 8 acres. TRACT 2: Situated in Lamar County, Texas, a part of the John Herrington Survey, being a part of the land con- veyed by G. Rosser and wife to grantors by deed recorded in Vol. 293, Page 189, Lamar County Deed Records and a part of the tract conveyed by Hubert Cunningham and wife to grantors by deed recorded in Vol. 319, Page 523A, Lamar County Deed Records. BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of the above tract conveyed by Rosser and wife to Alexander and wife; THENCE East with its NB line 163 feet a stake; THENCE South 100 feet passing the SB line of the Rosser tract continuing South 12 feet across the Cunningham tract, a total distance South of 112 feet to a stake in the SB line of the Cunningham tract; THENCE West with the SB line of the Cunningham tract 163 feet to fts SW corner; THENCE North with its WB line 12 feet continuing North with the WB line of the Rosser tract 100 feet, being North a total distance of 112 feet to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage. Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris in regular session convened, in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 14th day of July, 1980. ~ Michae E.
