AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710
OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE
BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY;
ESTABLISHING A NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) ON
LOT 2, CITY BLOCK 248B, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO LOWRY
L. CARRINGTON, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FOR-
MERLY DESIGNATED AS AN OFFICE DISTRICT (O); AND DESIG-
NATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE
DISTRICT (NS) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Neighborhood
Service District (NS), be, and the same is hereby established on Lot
2, City Block 248B, on property belonging to Lowry L. Carrington, so
as to include in such Ne.ighborhood Service District (NS) the herefn-
after described property, which was formerly and is presently desig-
nated as an Office District (O), and that the boundaries of said
Neighborhood Service District (NS), be, and the same are hereby
established as follows:
Situated within the Corporate Lim its of the City of Paris,
Lamar County, Texas, within the George W. Cox Survey,
being Lot 2, City Block 248B, and being further described as
follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the South R. O. W. of
Clarksville Street, sa.id point being 185 ft. more or less,
Southeast from the intersection of the East R. O. W. of
19th Street, S. E. and the South R. O. W. oE Clarksville
Street, said point also being the North West corner of safd
tract of land;
THENCE in a Southeasterly direction w.ith the South
R. O. W. of Clarksville Street 100 ft. to a point;
THENCE South 190 ft. to a point;
THENCE West 87.3 ft. to a point;
THENCE North 240 ft. to the point of beginning and
located at 1954 Clarksville Street.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development on
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions
of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompany.ing the same,
and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris in
regular session convened in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris,
Texas, on this the 14th day of July, 1980.
