ORDINANCE NO. 2530 .
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A 20 MILE PER HOUR
SPEED LIMIT ON CERTAIN PORTIONS OF PINE MILL ROAD;
PROVIDING FOR A FINE NOT TO EXCEED $200. 00; REPEAL-
ING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CON-
FLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
OF OCTOBER l, 1980.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PARIS:
Section l. That a speed limit of 30 miles per hour shall
be in effect on those portions of the street hereinafter described,
other than between the hours of 7:15 A. M. to 8:00 A. M. and
2:00 P. M. to 3:30 P. M. , which will be brought to the attention
of motorists by means of signs, at which time a speed l.imit of
20 miles per hour shall be in effect.
Pine Mill Road, from the East Boundary Line of
32nd Street, N. E. , West 1640 feet.
Section 2. Any person violating any of the prov.isions of this
ord.inance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and upon
conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200. 00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
October l, 1980.
