2549 ORD PROVIDING CODE OF ORDINANCES BE AMENDED BY REVISING TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80 SAID CODE
ORDINANCE N0. 2549
AN ORDIPIANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC-CONTROL
DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80 OF
SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CON-
FLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AiN EFFECTIVE DATE OF
JANUARY l, 1981.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l, That the Traffic-Control Device Map
adopted in Paragraph (b) of Section 29-30 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paris be amended to include
stop signs as follows:
"Stop 28th Street, N. E. at Ballard, from the
North and South
Stop Belmont Street at East Tudor, from the
Pdorth
Stop 19th Street, N. E. at East Tudor, from
the South."
Section 2, Any person violating any of the pro-
visions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class °'C"
Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any
sum not to exceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordiraances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
on January l, 1981.
