PARTS OF ORDINANCES TN CON- FLICT HEREWIiH; AND PROVIDIIiG "r"OR AN EFl°ECTIVE DATE OF NIARCH 1, 1981. BE TT OKDAINED BY THF. CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. Effective with gas bi11s rendered an and after March 1, 1981, the maximum general service rate for sales of natural gas rendered to residential and commercial corisumers withi.n the city limits of Paris, Texas, by Lone Star Gas Company, a division of ENSERCH C012YORATION, a Texas Carporation, its SllCC.PS50rS and assigns, is hereby fixed and determined as set farth in Ttem A in Exhibit A attached hereto which is incorporated lierein. Section 2. The residential and commercial rates set forth above shall be adjusted tipward or downward from a base of $2.0279 per Ncf by a i,as Cost Adjustment Factor ex- pressed as an amount ner thousand cubic feet (`gcf) of natu- ral gas for changes in the intracompany citv gate rate charge as authorized by the Railroad Commission of Texas or other r_egulatory body havinr jurisdiction fo.r gas de- livered to the Paris distrzbut:ioi1 system, accordin.g to Irem B, in Exhibi.t A attached hereto which is incorporated herein. In addition t:o the aforesaid rates, Gompany sha11 have Lhe right to coll.:c.r_ such reasonahle charges as are necessary to conduct iLs business and to carry out its rea.sonable rule.s and re;ulations in eff_ect, as set forth in Item D, in Exhibit .A attached tzereta which is incorporated herein, Section S. The rates set forth in this ordinance may be changed and amended by either the City or Conpany in the manizer nrovi.ded by law.
