AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710
OF THE C ITY OF PA R IS, PA R IS, TEXA S, A ND CHA NG ING THE
BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY;
ESTABLISHING A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 3(SF-3)
ON LOT 3, CITY BLOCK 192, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO A. B.
SPANN, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY
DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2
(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE ONE-
FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT' NO. 3(SF-3) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
k'ARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a One-Family
Dwelling District No. 3(SF-3), be, and the same is hereby established
on Lot 3, City Block 192, on property belonging to A. B. Spann, so as to
include in such One-Family Dwelling District No. 3(SF-3), the herein-
after described property, which was formerly and is presently desig-
nated as a One-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the
boundaries of said One-Family Dwelling District No. 3(SF-3), be,
and the same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of
Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the Asa Jarman
Survey No. 479 and being a tract of land conveyed
A. B. Spann by deed recorded in Vol. 408, Page 396, of
the Deed Records of said County and State.
BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner in the North
Boundary Line of West Houston Street, said point being
the Southeast Corner of the Spann tract and said point
being West 200 feet from the West Boundary Line of
18th N. W. ;
THENCE West along the North Boundary Line of
West Houston Street, a distance of 120 feet to an iron
pin for corner;
THENCE North, a distance of 130. 5 feet to an
iron pin for corner;
THENCE N 87° 50' E, a distance of 120 feet to
an iron pin for corner;
THENCE South, a distance of 135 feet to the place
of beginning.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions
of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the
same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris
in regular session convened in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris,
Texas, on this the 13th day of April, 1981.
