2578 ORD ADOPTING BUDGET FOR ENSUING FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1981 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1982 ORDINANCE NO. 2578 . AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE ENSUING FISCAL YEAR, BEGINNING JULY l, 1981, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1982, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF PARIS, APPROPRIATING THE VARIOUS AMOUNTS THEREOF AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH. WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Paris has submitted to the City Council a proposed budget of the revenues of said City and the expenses of conducting the affairs thereof and providing a complete financial plan for the ensuing fiscal year, beginning July l, 1981, and ending June 30, 1982, and which said proposed budget has been compiled from detailed informat.ion obtained from the several departments, divis.ions and offices of said City; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has rece.ived said C.ity Manager's proposed budget, a copy of which proposed budget and all supporting schedules have been f.iled with the City Clerk of the City of Paris, and is of the opinion that the same should be approved and adopted and that a public hearing before the City Council has been provided for as required by Article V, Section 50, of the Charter of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the proposed budget of the revenues of the City of Paris, and the expenses of conducting the affairs thereof, providing a complete financial plan for the ensuing fiscal year, begin- ning July 1, 1981, and end.ing June 30, 1982, as submitted to the City Council by the City Manager of said City, be, and the same is in all things adopted and approved as the budget of all of the current ex- penses as well as the fixed charges against said City for the fiscal year beginning July l, 1981, and ending June 30, 1982. Section 2. Section 4. That the sum of $2, 502, 552. 00, based on the estimated Water and Sewer Budget, is hereby authorized out of util.ity fund reve- nues for the payment of operating expenses and capital outlay of Water and Sewer Utility Departments and expense Transfer to General Fund, exclusive of Capital Projects Fund Outlay, as here.inafter itemized: WATER: Billing & Collecting $174, 643, 00 Water Production 969, 233, 00 Water Distribution 608, 820. 00 Total $1,752,696.00 SEWER: Sewer Maintenance 312, 939. 00 Waste Water Treatment 263, 117. 00 Total 576, 056. 00 TRANSFERS: 0& M Expense to General Fund 173, 800. 00 Total Authorized Expenditures and Transfers $2, 502, 552. 00 Section 5. That the sum of $362, 890. 00 is hereby appropriated out of the Water and Sewer Revenue Bond Fund for the purpose of pay.ing accrued interest and making the principal payments as the same mature on the water and sewer revenue bonds, and creating the pre- scribed contingent and reserve funds therefor. Section 6.
