AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ES-
TABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) ON LOT 10, CITY BLOCK 52,
ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO CORRINE WADE, SO AS TO INCLUDE THERE-
IN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DIS-
TRICT (2F); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD
SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Qrdinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
Neighborhood Service District (NS), be, and the same is hereby
established on Lot 10, City Block 52, on property belonging to
Corrine Wade, so as to include in such Neighborhood Service
District (NS), the hereinafter described property, which was
fornerly and is presently designated as a'I~ao-Family Dwelling
same Neighorhod
District (2F), and boundaries
Service District (NS), b,
as follows:
FIRCT TR.ACT: Situated within the corporate limits
of the City oy Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the
Asa Jarman Survey and part of the same lot conveyed to
T. N. White by Chas. Shaeffer;
BEGINNING in the NBL of 7th Street, N.W. (formerly
Division Street or N. 15th Street), the SEC of the above
mentioned lot;
THENCE NORTH with said WBL of 7th St. N.W., 60 feet,
a stake;
THENCE WEST 150 feet a stake;
THENCE SOUTH 60 feet a stake;
THENCE EAST 150 feet to the place of beginning.
SECOND TRACT: Situated within the corporate limits
of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the
Asa Jarman Survey, being the same property as described
in Deed from Lon Burke et al to W. Mack Road, dated
August 15, 1935, of record in Book 241, Page 411, Lamar
County Deed Records;
BEGINNING at the S. E. Corner of the tract conveyed
by Charles Shaeffer to W. M. Roach by Deed dated May 2,
1914, of record in Book 150, Page 517, Lamar County Deed
Records;
THENCE NORTH 87 Deg. 32 Min. ti;lest 193 feet, along
the South-Boundary Line of said lot;
THENCE NORTH 11 feet, 10 inches, a stake in the
North Boundary Line of said lot;
THENCE NORTH 89 Deg. 10 Min. East 44 feet and 8 inches;
THENCE SOUTH 39 feet, a stake;
THENCE NORTH 89 Deg. 10 Min, East 150 feet, a stake in
the WBL of 7th St. N.W.;
THENCE SOUTH along the WBL of 7th St. N.W. 81,85 feet,
to the place of beginning.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the pro-
visions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying
the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordi-
nance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immedi-
ately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room, City
Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the lOth day of August, 1981.
