ORDINANCE N0, 2588
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PRO-
VIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS, BE
AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC PARKING MAP ADOPTED IN PARA-
GRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-112 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR 30-
MINUTE PARKING ZONES; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED
$200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF
SEPTEMBER l, 1981.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the Traffic Parking Map adopted in
Paragraph (b) of Section 29-112 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Paris be amended to include 30-Minute Parking
Zones as follows:
"On the West side of lst Street, S.E. in the 100 Block,
three (3) parking spaces beginning 15 feet North of th.e
North Boundary Line of Kaufman Street; thence North
60 feet.
On the North side of East Kaufman Street in the
10 Block, three (3) parking spaces beginning at a
point 15 feet West of the West Boundary Line of
lst Street, S.E.; thence West 60 feet,"
Section 2. Any person violating any provisions of this
ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor and upon
conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4, This ordinance shall become effective on
September l, 1981.
