ORDINANCE N0. 2598
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PRO-
VIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE
MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80 OF SAID
CODE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; RE-
PEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF DECEMBER
1, 1981.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the Traffic-Control Device Map adopted
in Paragraph (b) of Section 29-80 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Paris be amended to include stop signs as
follows:
"Stop East Margaret Street at 16th Street, S.E.,
from the East and West."
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor,
and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to ex-
ceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
December l, 1981.
