2408 ORD PROVIDING ORDINANCE NO 2405 WHICH AMENDED CODE OF ORDINANCES BY REVISING TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80
ORDINANCE N0. 2408
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS PROVIDING
THAT ORDINANCE N0. 2405, WHICH AMENDED THE CODE 0F ORDINANCES,
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC-CONTROL
DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80, BE AMENDED;
PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE 0F'OCTOBER 1, 1978.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That Section 3. of Ordinance No. 2405 be
amended to read as follows:
"Section 3.
That the Traffic-Control Device Map adopted in
Paragraph (b) of Section 29-80 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Paris be amended to include mandatory
left turns as follows:
"Northbound in West lane of 12th S. E. at Tamar
Eastbound in North lane of Clarksville at 12th S. E.
Westbound in Center lane of Clarksville at 12th S. E."
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of
this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and
upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts o.f ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
October l, 1_978.
