ORDINANCE N0. 2412
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE
MA P ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80 OF SAID CODE;
PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL
OR.DINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF NOVEMBER 1, 1978.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the Traffic-Control Device Map adopted
in Paragraph (b) of Section 29-$0 0£ the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Paris be amended to include stop signs as
follows:
"Stop 29th S. E. at Loop 286,
from the North and South
Stop 6th S. E. at Loop 2$6,
from the North and South
Stop 7th S. W. at Loop 286,
from the North and South
Stop 3rd S. E. at Loop 286,
from the North and South
Stop Old Srookston Road at Loop 286,
from the Northeast and Southwest
Stop Jefferson Road at Loop 286,
from the North and South "
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor,
and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed
$200.00.
Section 3. All Ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become ef.fective on
November 1, 1978.
