2425 ORD PROVIDING CODE OF ORDINANCES BE AMENDED BY REVISING TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80 OF SAID CODE
ORDINANCE N0. 2425
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS PROVIDING THAT THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS BE AMENDED BY REVISING
THE TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80
OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY 1, 1979.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That the Traffic-Control Device Map adopted in Paragraph
(b) of Section 29-80 of the Code ofi Ordinances of the City of Paris be
amended to eliminate stop signs stopping traffic on West Kaufman at 3rd
Street S. W., from the East and West.
Section 2. That the Traffic-Control Device Map adopted in Paragraph
(b) of Section 29-80 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris be
amended to include yield signs as follows:
"Yield lOth Street N. E. at Center Street, from the North and South"
Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance
shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined
in any sum not to exceed $200.00.
Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective on January 1, 1979.
