2429 ORD AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO 1710 AND CHANGING BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY ESTABLISHING LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) ON PART OF LOT 15 CITY BLOCK 170A ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO HARRISON, WALKER AND HARPER ORDINANCE N0. 2429 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SA ID CITY; ESTABLISHING A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) ON A PART OF LOT 15, CITY BLOCI< 170A, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO HARRISON, WALKER AND HARPER, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Light Industrial District (LI), be, and the same is hereby established on a part of Lot 15, City Block 170A, on property belonging to Harrison, Walker and Harper, so as to include in such Light Industrial District (LI) the hereinafter descr.ibed property, which was formerly and is presently designated as an Agricultural District (A), and that the boundaries of said Light Industrial District (LI), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the James Bourland Survey, Abstract No. 69, and being a part of a tract of land conveyed to Northera Martin as recorded in Volume 303, page 223, of the Lamar County Deed Records, also being all of a tract of land conveyed to Mike L. Julian as recorded in Volume 222, page 797, of the Lamar County Deed of Trust Records. BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner in the WBL of State Highway 19 (S. H. 24) said point being the SEC of a 0. 861 acre tract of land conveyed to McAsh Corporation by deed recorded in Vol. 547, Page 470, of said deed records, said point also being S. 23 ° 35' W. a distance of 136. 4 feet from the NEC of said Martin tract of land; THENCE S. 88° 47' W. with said McAsh's SBL a distance of 299. 1 feet to an iron pipe for said McAsh's SWC; THENCE N. 22° 22' E. with said McAsh's WBL a distance of 137. 3 feet to an iron pin for said McAsh's NWC, same being a point in the NBL of said Martin's tract of land; THENCE S. 89 ° 30' W. with said Martin's NB and said Julian's NBL a distance of 1314. 2 feet to an iron pin for corner in the EBL of 7th SW Street, said point being the NWC of said Martin's and said Julian's tracts of land; THENCE S. 0° 45' W. with the EBL of said street a distance of 1328. 8 feet to a stake for corner in the NBL of Loop Highway 286; THENCE S. 88 ° 35' E. with said Loop Highway's NBL a distance of 25 feet to a concrete monument; THENCE S. 65° 11' E. a distance of 64. 1 feet to a concrete monument; THENCE N. 80° 59' E. a distance of 935. 8 feet to a concrete monument; THENCE N. 52° 17' E. a distance of 175. 4 feet to a concrete monument, same being the intersection of the NBL of Loop Highway 286 and the WBL of said State Highway 19; THENCE N. 23° 35' E. with said State Highway's WBL a distance of 1083. 1 feet to the place of beginning and containing 38. 660 acres of land, more or less. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. S°ction 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
