AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS PROVIDING THAT THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS BE AMENDED BY REVISING
THE TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80
OF SAID CODE: PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00: REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH: AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF MARCH 1, 1979.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That the Traffic-Control Device Map adopted in Paragraph (b)
of Section 29-80 of the Code or Ordinances of the City of Paris be amended to
include stop signs as follows:
"Stop lOth N.E. at Pine Bluff, from the North
Stop 12th N.E. at Pine Bluff, from the North
Stop 13th N.E. at Pine Bluff, from the South
Stop 14th N.E. at Pine Bluff, from the North
Stop 15th N.E. at Pine Bluff, from the South
Stop 19th N.E. at Pine Bluff, from the North"
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance
shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined
in any sum not to exceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on March 1, 1979.
