ORDINANCE N0. 2437
AN ORDTNANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARTS, TEXAS PROVIDING THAT THE
CODE OF ORDTNANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARTS, TEXAS BE AMENDED BY REVTSTNG
THE TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80
OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALTNG
ALL ORDINANCES DR PARTS OF ORDTNANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTTVE DATE OF APRTL 1, 1979.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARTS:
Section 1. That the Traffic-Control Device Map adopted in Paragraph
(b) of Section 29-80 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris be
amended to include a stop sign as follows:
"Stop 35th N. E. Street at Pine Mill Road, from the South"
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance
shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined
in any sum not to exceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on April 1, 1979.
