ORDINANCE N0. 2442
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS PROVIDING
THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS BE
AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN
PARAGRP,PH (b) OF SECTION 29-80 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR A
PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR
PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF MAY l, 1979.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That the Traffic-Control Device Map adopted
in Paragraph (b) of Section 29-80 of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Paris be amended to include a stop sign as follows:
"Stop 2nd Street, N.E., at Pine Bluff, from the South"
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor,
and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed
$200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herwith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
May l, 1979.
