ORDINANCE N0. 2449 •
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS PROVID-
ING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS
BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TR.AFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP ADOPTED
IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-30 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR
A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR
PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JULY l, 1979.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That the Traffic-Control Device Map adopted
in Paragraph (b) of Section 29-80 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Paris be amended to include a stop sign as
follows:
"Stop Henderson Street, at 19th Street N. W.,
from the East"
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor,
and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed
$200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
July 1, 1979.
