AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY: ESTABLISHING A GENER_-
kL RFTAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOTS 1 AND 2, CITY BLOCK 205, ON
PROPERTY BELONGING TO JOHN M. WRIGHT AND JAMES C. WRIGHT, SO
AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A
ONE-FAMILY D14ELLING DISTRICT N0. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING
THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GETIER.AL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARI S :
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Gener-
al Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby established
on Lots 1 and 2, City Block 205, on property belonging to John
M. Wright and James C. Wright, so as to include in such Gene-
ral District (GR) the hereinafter described property, which was
formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwellino
District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said General Retail
District (GR),be, and the same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City
of Paris, Lamar County, Texas;
A part of the Asa Jarman Survey and being Lots 1
and 2, City Block 205, in Paris, Lamar County, Texas.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions
of Ordinance DTo. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same,
and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immedi-
ately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris in regular session convened, in the Council Room, City Hall,
Paris, Texas, on this the 9th day of July, 1979.
